The Ministry of Labour has yet to decide whether to appeal the ruling, which declared that the money should be paid collectively to Dag Vilnes, 57, Angus Gunnar Kleppe, 59, and Magne Haakon Muledal, 54. They were awarded Nkr15.4 million, Nkr11.0 million and Nkr3.1 million, respectively.
The plaintiffs had carried out deep diving operations during the pioneering phase of Norway's offshore industry.
