"Plangas is in no sense intended to substitute Bolivian imports, for the scenario is one of very robust expansion in our domestic consumption, but the project will reduce dependence on imported gas," Petrobras general manager for exploration and production in the southern regions Jose Antonio Figueiredo told a Brazilian seminar recently.
