Verdipapirfondet Skagen, the third largest shareholder in DNO, is far from happy with the outcome of the general meeting.

"The company's corporate governance needs to be improved," said Skagen's Kristian Falnes. DNO has suffered from speculation over the legitimacy of its business transactions.

Falnes argued that a "more open" information policy is badly needed and the board should have at least one member that is not "appointed" by Larsen.
