Indian-owned conglomerate Dodsal Group has set itself an ambitious target of fast-tracking the development of its recent gas discoveries onshore northern Tanzania via an early production system.
A source told Upstream that, potentially, first gas could flow as early as 2018 from Dodsal’s resource base in its coastal Ruvu Basin production sharing contract.
This PSC lies 50 kilometres west of Dar es Salaam, with expectations that the early gas will be supplied to industrial consumers there.
