The project, which is set to be Denmark’s largest wind farm when it is completed, will be built off the Danish island of Anholt in the Kattegat.
“Building Anholt will be an important milestone in the expansion of renewable energy production in Denmark,” said Dong Energy chief executive Anders Eldrup.
“The project will fit well into our plan to significantly increase our portfolio of renewable energy and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
