Uzbekistan’s state-owned oil and gas producer Uzbekneftegaz has reported new discoveries at two different regions of the country, writes Vladimir Afanasiev.
According to Uzbekneftegaz statements, a first exploration well on the Aralyk structure penetrated a prolific gas reservoir at a depth of about 3900 metres.
The company said that during the testing of this well, it flowed gas at the rate between 700,000 and 800,000 cubic metres per day.
