Brazil’s permanent offer initiative has added a dozen more companies to the mix, as the day of the first round under the new open-door mechanism fast approaches.
Among the new entrants are state-controlled Petrobras, supermajors ExxonMobil and Shell, local independent players Enauta and PetroRio, as well as China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
The full list of players registered to participate in the initiative, which will have its first round on 10 September, now totals 47.
