SPAIN’S Dragados Offshore is on the verge of winning a contract from Mexico’s Pemex to supply and install a wellhead production platform for Tekel, part of the Ayatsil-Tekel development.
The potentially winning bid was in the region of $150 million, fending off competition from McDermott International and Mexico’s Swecomex (CICSA), both of which bid at the upper limit of $158 million established by Pemex as a pre-bidding condition.
