ExxonMobil has submitted more information to Australia’s offshore regulator on an ultra-deepwater well it plans to drill off the coast of Victoria.
The National Offshore Petroleum Safety & Environmental Management Authority is expected to make a decision on whether or not to approve the US supermajor's environmental plan for the Sculpin-1 well in Vic/P70 on 26 April.
A decision was due last month but the regulator requested more information from ExxonMobil which was submitted last week.
