Operator Mubadala Petroleum has started a three-well development drilling campaign off Thailand at the Manora oilfield in the Gulf of Thailand.
Drilling started this week on the first well, MNA-22, using the jack-up Ensco-115 and will be followed by the MNA-23 and MNA-24 wells.
Each well is expected to produce 1000 barrels per day of oil using electric submersible pumps for artificial lift, providing a combined 3000 bpd boost to production which currently averages roughly 5290 bpd, down from an average of 6397 bpd in 2018.
