Exploring downtown Sandakan in Sabah, East Malaysia, Cuttings spotted one restaurant giving spare empty oil barrels a new lease of life as seating for locals and tourists.
D’Beach Restaurant & Cafe on the sleepy town’s main waterfront drag was sporting brightly-painted red barrels cut neatly into comfy seats for hungry and thirsty patriots, with a few intact Petronas barrels also reincarnated as high tables.
