Eni has plugged and abandoned as a dry hole the Ca Lang-1 well in the Phu Khanh basin off central Vietnam.
The well was drilled using the Saipem-owned semi-submersible drilling rig Scarabeo 7 in Block 120.
Joint venture partner KrisEnergy said the well did not encounter hydrocarbons.
Eni has a 66.67% operator interest in Block 120, with KrisEnergy on 33.33%.
