A local court in Dalian in north-east China’s Liaoning province has ruled that rig fabricator Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Company (DSIC Offshore) should proceed with bankruptcy reorganisation — a process that in Chinese law is designed to allow a business to start a rehabilitation process in order to avoid bankruptcy, writes Xu Yihe.
