Pearl has tendered two separate transport and installation contracts for 305 kilometres of offshore pipelines and two platforms at the Ruby project.
Meindo and Swiber bid $44 million for the pipeline job, $2 million less than the next lowest bid, from Italy’s Saipem, sources said.
However, Saipem managed to outbid the duo at $24 million for the platform deal.
Bids were also in last week for the engineering, procurement and construction of the central processing platform and a gas and liquids processing and living platform.
