The duo has agreed to carry out a technical evaluation of the gas potential of the Tuba Obi East technical assistance contract in the South Sumatran basin and the surrounding undeveloped gas discoveries to ascertain the potential opportunities in the region.
Initial studies on the Tuba Obi East TAC showed that there are multiple oil and gas discoveries on the acreage, oil is already being produced via existing facilities, there is undeveloped gas potential in two reservoir zones and there are further unexploited gas discoveries adjacent.
