German operator Wintershall has awarded Aker Solutions and Subsea 7 contracts worth around $230 million for fabrication and installation of subsea facilities on its Nova field development project off Norway, writes Steve Marshall.
The engineering, procurement and construction contract for the subsea production system at the field, which will be developed as a tieback to Engie E&P’s Gjoa platform in the northern North Sea, has been handed to Aker Solutions.
