East coast sets pace as states set targets

A RANGE of new US offshore wind projects have begun to gain momentum along the country's east coast, writes Kathrine Schmidt.

Just a few years ago costs were seen as too high to support all but the most niche offshore wind projects but renewable energy subsidies and requirements from states and political will to target climate concerns are changing the game, officials said.
