Increased drilling activity in central Oklahoma has led the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) to start including the Anadarko basin in its monthly forecast of unconventional oil and gas production, writes Luke Johnson.
The region comprised just one component of the EIA’s tight-oil forecast for September, which is 117,000 barrels per day higher than its estimate for August.
Overall, the EIA expects producers to pump around 6.15
