The Singaporean company was Premier's original choice for the FPSO job this time last year, but was at that time unable to raise the finance needed for building the floater, estimated at $400 million-plus.
However, Emas has fought to stay in contention for the job and has raised the necessary finance needed to satisfy Premier, which is also in talks with Dutch floater giant Bluewater.
