The FPSO has been producing at the Arthit field in Thailand for just two years, and Emas said the contract ends later this month.
Emas said previously the job was supposed to last until October 2012.
The company is bidding for a new job in Asia which, if awarded, will likely run for a period of between three and five years, said Emas.
