Indonesian independent Energi Mega Persada (EMP) is to sell half of its interest in the gas-rich Buzi exploration and production concession contract off Mozambique that has multi-trillion cubic feet potential.
EMP is said to be in talks with a strategic investor of African origin and a deal is expected to be completed soon.
The operator expects to raise up to $96.25 million from divesting as much as half of its 75% equity in Buzi.
