KBR said Energo, with Granherne, will provide integrity management and advanced structural engineering services as well as support front-end engineering and detailed design projects.
KBR sees Energo as a complementary fit to Granherne’s offshore field development services and as a foundation for international expansion.
Energo and its roughly 30 engineers led by president Frank Puskar has ongoing projects in the Gulf of Mexico and off the US west coast, as well as in Trinidad, West Africa, off Russia’s Sakhalin Island and off western Australia.
