Surestream is already assisting Energulf run its DR Congo operation and harbours plans to expand its portfolio deep into the eastern Rift Valley through the Albertine and Tanganyika Grabens abutting Uganda and Burundi, confirmed a senior executive.
Running north to south, DR Congo has demarcated five Great Lakes licences of which Albertine Graben blocks 1 and 2 constitute the most prospective, having been signed up by Tullow Oil with Heritage Oil as junior partner.
