Energy Hunter Resources has completed an acquisition that represents its entrance into the emerging San Andres oil play in the Permian basin of Texas in the US.
Energy Hunter has acquired 9413 acres in the Slaughter-Levelland field in Cochrane County from an undisclosed seller in a cash and stock deal valued at $20 million.
The assets include about 160 existing wells, power generation and electrical lines, salt water disposal wells, injection lines, surface pumps, tank batteries and pumping units.
