Mexican regulators have given approval for an exploration plan submitted by Italian operator Eni covering activity on a block it won in Mexico's Round 3.1 for shallow waters, with its first well on the acreage planned to spud in the second half of 2020, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
Eni has proposed drilling its two committed wells on the block, with the first running from September to December 2020 and the second from September to December 2021, according to a presentation given to the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH).
