Diamond Offshore has been awarded a $95 million contract to provide drilling services to Eni in Australia for one year.
The 350-foot water depth jack-up Ocean Shield is due for completion at Singapore's Keppel Fels yard in the first quarter of 2008. It will then be transported to the Timor Sea to begin working for Eni at a dayrate in the mid-$260,000 range, said Diamond.
