Italy’s Eni is set to award two key subsea contracts related to its important Sankofa-Gye Nyame oil and gas project off Ghana.
Industry sources said the two contracts up for grabs cover the transport and installation of subsea systems plus the installation of a 65-kilometre gas export pipeline.
US player McDermott International, working with its local partner Hydra Offshore, is thought to remain in pole position for the subsea installation work, ahead of rivals Emas Offshore and Saipem.
