Italian operator Eni has placed its long-gestating tender for new processing facilities for the Loango project off Congo-Brazzaville on the backburner for the foreseeable future.
Market sources said Eni recently sent advisory letters to contractors that had been involved in an unusual bid process centred on the provision of facilities not just for Loango, but for future Eni projects in its prolific shallow-water acreage off Congo-Brazzaville.
