Italy's Eni is set to embark on a fresh wave of wildcatting over the next four years, targeting net resources of about 2 billion barrels of oil equivalent.
Chief executive Claudio Descalzi told analysts at its 2018-2021 strategy day that Eni will spend some €900 million ($1.1 billion) annually on exploration over the next four years, drilling a total of about 115 wells in more than 25 countries.
