Eni has carried out a pre-qualification-type exercise for a wellhead platform in about 50 metres of water, a 110-kilometre subsea pipeline, a new onshore gas processing plant near Wadeye in the Northern Territory and onshore civil works.
Invitations to bid are expected soon.
Companies likely to pursue work on offer will include Technip, J Ray McDermott, Saipem, Clough, Acergy, Allseas, Ausclad Industries and other platform fabricators in South-east Asia.
