Industry sources said at least three groups have submitted initial proposals to take part in a front-end engineering and design contest that is expected to last for a minimum 12 months.
The contenders expect to hear next month at the earliest whether they have pre-qualified to take part in the FEED contest.
The trio of confirmed contenders involves all three of South Korea’s major yards allied to Asian, American and European engineering and construction companies.
