Italy's Eni is preparing the ground for a significant project off Ghana that involves exploiting the recent Akoma gas condensate discovery as a satellite to its Sankofa-Gye Nyame facilities.
In addition, Eni is evaluating a standalone development concept for its Agogo discovery in Angola.
Chief executive Claudio Descalzi said Akoma, which is located in Cape Three Points Block 4, holds in-place resources of up to 650 billion cubic feet of gas and 20 million barrels of condensate.
