Production from Eni’s Nooros gas field off Egypt goes from strength to strength with output recently hitting 32 million cubic metres per day, equivalent to around 1.2 billion cubic feet per day or 215,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, writes Iain Esau.

Eni said this is the highest production level recorded from any of its Egyptian fields in the last 50 years, and was reached after the field’s 13th development well — called NW-7 — came on stream.
