ENN ends interest in buying unit with Freeport LNG stake

Chinese private gas market player ENN Ecological has terminated a deal that would have seen it acquire a unit of Japan’s Toshiba, which holds a stake in the Freeport LNG project in the US, writes Xu Yihe.

In early November last year, ENN signed an initial deal to buy Toshiba America LNG (TAL) for a cash payment of $15 million.
