Ensco 123, currently under construction at the Keppel Fels yard in Singapore, is now set for delivery in the first quarter of 2018. Delivery had previously been scheduled for the second quarter of this year.
Ensco ordered the harsh-environment rig in 2013 at a time when demand for such units was high. The UK company’s all-in price tag was $285 million, including commissioning, systems integration, testing and project management.
