Trinidad sources said Parula holds about 500 billion cubic feet of gas and EOG is preparing to issue bid documents for the fabrication and installation of a wellhead platform and three-mile pipeline in early 2003.
Parula lies north-east of EOG's Kiskadee field which has been producing through the Pelican platform for 10 years. Both fields are located on the SECC block.
