Tullow Oil is “very close” to an agreement in Kenya that will see trucking operations resume under its Early Oil Pilot Scheme (EOPS) after they were shuttered by local protests not long after launching last month.
The Anglo-Irish independent said it remains on track by the end of next year for the final investment decision on its phased field development in the Lokichar basin despite the current impasse, which has halted cargoes to the port of Mombasa as community groups in Turkana plead with government to address long-standing security issues.
