Equatorial Guinea launched its 2016 licensing round this week hoping to attract multiple players to its offshore and onshore plays.
All vacant acreage — excluding areas currently under direct negotiation — is available and includes 32 offshore blocks and five onshore blocks.
Mines, Industry & Energy Minister Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima said roadshows will be held in Cape Town, London, Istanbul, Singapore and Houston ahead of the bid deadline of 30 November.
