Norwegian giant Equinor is edging towards the award of the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines and pipelines contract for the second phase of development of the giant Johan Sverdrup project off Norway, writes Ole Ketil Helgesen.
Award of the SURF and pipelines contract for Sverdrup 2 was scheduled for early in the second quarter. Equinor is a little behind schedule, but a company spokesperson confirmed that the award would be made before the end of next month.
