Norwegian operator Equinor (formerly Statoil) has clinched two deals with Azeri state-owned player Socar for exploration and development in Azerbaijan, writes Kama Mustafayeva.
The agreements, signed on the sidelines of an energy conference in Baku, are a risk service agreement for the Karabagh oil gas and condensate discovery and a production sharing agreement for the neighbouring Ashrafi-Dan Ulduzu-Aypara exploration area.
