Norway's Equinor is said to be considering Keppel’s newbuild Can Do drillship for drilling operations at its Carcara field in Brazil, writes Ole Ketil Helgesen.
Equinor recently launched a tender to charter a high-specification drilling rig to carry out a development programme at its operated Carcara field in Brazil’s prolific Santos basin pre-salt province.
Sources told Upstream that a delegation from Equinor visited Keppel’s yard last week because the Can Do unit is being considered for the drilling campaign.
