Norway's Equinor has homed in on a development concept for its Heidrun subsea extension phase two, which will centre on the installation of two new production templates and drilling of five new wells, writes Ole Ketil Helgesen.

Norwegian authorities and state-owned partner Petoro have been concerned with the need for new wells to maximise production at the ageing Heidrun field in the Norwegian Sea, and progress on the development will help answer those concerns.
