Norway’s Equinor will send out invitations to tenders next month for multiple contracts related to its challenging Bay du Nord project of Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada.
Industry sources said the decision to release bid documents by the end of November is a good indication of the increased confidence Equinor and its partners, Calgary-based Husky Energy and provincial oil company Nalcor, now have in this deep-water, 300 million-barrel field.
