Equinor will reactivate the stacked Pacific Drilling drillship Pacific Khamsin for a one-well contract with three options in the US Gulf of Mexico starting in November, set to be the Norwegian player's first operated drilling activity in the region since early 2016.
The firm contract is set to reach from November 2019 to January 2020, according to a Pacific Drilling fleet status report, but a dayrate or further details were not provided.
