Equinor is not certain when it will be able to resume production from its Snorre B platform in the North Sea, which has been shut down since early March after an incident involving a riser.
The serious incident took place on 5 March as a riser connected to the platform’s water injection system came loose from its fastening and fell to the seafloor.
