Calgary-based Canadian Natural Resources (CNR) has cancelled an infill drilling programme at its Espoir field off Ivory Coast that was due to start next quarter.
“Due to ongoing discussions with the... government, the Espoir drilling programme has been cancelled until such time as foreign exchange practices can be clarified,” the company said in its second quarter results statement.
The nature of these forex practices is unclear.
