BP’s regional North Sea president Mark Thomas says the Eastern Trough Area Project (ETAP) remains a “critical and strategic hub” that can play a part in helping to deliver “rapid paybacks” on new investments by the company, writes Rob Watts.
“We want to do everything we can to maximise the usage of that facility,” says Thomas.
BP calls ETAP one of the most commercially complex North Sea oil and gas developments of the past 20 years, comprising nine different fields with varying ownership sharing a central processing facility.
