Exile already partners Oando on the Akepo oilfield off Nigeria and in the latest deal Exile is insisting that each of the subsidiaries in which the upstream assets are located should retain their status as indigenous companies to maintain favourable fiscal terms.
As another condition precedent to the completion of the acquisition, Exile will change its name and effect a consolidation of outstanding shares.
