US supermajor ExxonMobil has signed a long-term agreement with Dutch floater giant SBM Offshore that paves the way for the pair to work more closely on potential future floating production, storage and offloading projects.
The non-exclusive agreement “establishes the general legal framework and specific terms in relation to the engineering, procurement, construction and installation work regarding potential future contracts”, SBM said late last week.
