The Irong Barat C platform the third to be installed on the field is the first of two structures under the Satellite Fields Development III (SFD III) to come into operation. The total project cost for Irong Barat C was 407 million ringgit ($107 million).
The new unmanned platform is expected to produce at a peak rate of 17,000 barrels per day of oil and will recover more than 25 million barrels of crude during its lifetime.
